WTB: trunk lid for my 88 XR-7 scarlet red

Looking for a trunk lid that has some decent paint, mine is py and has holes from luggage rack. No rush the cheaper the better ;)

88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

The cat I seen at the yard yesterday was red,not sure it was scarlet though,the trunk was on it.
I can probably go back on sun.

I don't think I'll have the money to paint it anytime soon. Might have to save up for a year or so. I'm way over budget on the motor so far :( and its not even running yet.

I'm going to Short'y u-pull-it in Conshohocken this weekend so I'll see if they have one. I'll let you know.

Did you get one,I never made it back to the yard,might go today ,not sure there open.I'm pretty sure the one that was there is the darker red.

I went but only seen a 83 cougar and a 87 bird. How much would it cost from your place? I think if its red and an xr-7 its the right color

It was 24.50 I don't think it was a xr7.Yours is code 2D I think that one was code 26 bright red whitch is actually darker.
But I'm not positive on that,I didn't spend much time looking at it.I just looked at the headlights and see if it had an engine harnes for a fellow member.

Yeah thanks, not to be picky but it has to be scarlet red and decent shape no luggage rack too! lol. Its going to be about a year till I can afford to paint this thing.

Went there, wrong red and had a rack witch some one actually took.Plenty of taurus's. 1 cat no birds. I'll keep my eyes open.
