I say go for the widebody look if you want. That's what is cool about modding a car you own and really like. It's yours and you can do what you want to it. Of course it's all in the planning/execution stages to get the actual result to equal what you have in your mind. You might try to get a hold of some of those shops that did widebody work on our TBirds and see if they can at least give you some dimensions, pictures, or just a place to start from. Keep us informed, not only on this but the BB swap also.

Of course i come to you guys for any problems and ideas i have ,, im only 19 and my xr7 is my first car. i know generally what im doing mechanically wise, but this whole widebody thing,,, i definately have under control,.. id love to see a cougar or tbird with a widebody,, so far i havent.... i was also thinking of mocking up a tbird nose onto the cougar.... only because i like the rear end of the cougar,, but i like the front end of the tbird.....The bb swap is on hold for now, the block is getting rebuilt piece by piece slowly but surely,,,,, cant wait for this beast to be done.

is it okay to admire the skill involved in making a car look sooooo ugly?

Poor color choice for the bottom of that car :mullet:  solid black would've looked better than that bright :barf: blue. I'd say, if it's a wide body you want, and you have the required skill, then do it. But you had better keep us posted of your progress or else :beatyoass:  :flame:  :mullet:

Yes, by all means build your widebody, if it's really what you want.

If you want a widebody fox bird, though, you could always drop an MN-12 body on a stretched fox.:rollin:
