trim removal

door B pillar trim (under the ribbed plastic piece)

how does it come off?

It has been some time since I have done it. But my brain is telling me that you pry up the front edge easily then slide the piece towards the rear of the car. Hope that helps. Once again it has been a long time.

One of these days I'm going to make a video of this... :)

1) Open the door. Make sure the window is rolled down.
2) Pull the window run (felt) from its channel near the B-pillar panel.
3) Stand at the back side of the door.
4) Grab the front edge of the panel and pull it towards the back of the car. It should move about 1/2".
5) While still pulling on the panel, push it outward (to the left). This unhooks the panel from the rear clips. It should move out an inch or two.
6) Now push forward (toward the front of the car). This releases the panel from the front clips.
7) It should now be in your hand.

Installation is the reverse.

hmm eric.... shall i make a video? :-D the rear b-pillar peice is 3 screws and lift with maybe a bit of rearward pushing involved... front b-pillar peice is just as said before pull towards rear and it pops off

Thanks. Ford may have made a special tool for that but I never saw it.
