Interior parts... March 15, 2005, 04:33:46 AM well i have an 89 ford mustang lx...was wondering WHAT peices of the interior i can use to put into the 84 cougar...the 89 mustang has blue interior...id like to go with a blue and black interior on the cougar... any idea's how much stuff i can swap...like plastic....seats etc im sure the carpet wont swap over as the cougar is a longer wheel base. any help would be nice :-D oh and you know how the mustangs have the button for fuel door n hatchback....any idea how to convert the cougar to use those peices? Reply #1 – March 15, 2005, 06:08:11 AM Seats is the only thing you can use in the cougar.Althought you could swap the Cougar dash with the stang dash if you wanted to (Although you would hafta fiddle rewiring the gauges for the instrument cluster)As for the fuel door button, it's electronic, so you'ed hafta wire that for that to work.
