I new here and heres my ride.

I have 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe Medium Red w/ a5-speed manual Trans  paid $1000.00 for it and it looks like  but runs great and also has a few extra stuff done to it.

Motor Mods- Top End Rebulid w/ Port and Polised Head and New Turbo they were done around a year ago and the car sat for 9 months so it doesn't have much miles on the rebuild cams and 30# valves and RollerRocker Arms and Light Weight Aluminum Radiator done around 2500 miles ago, Tinted Windows.
Stero system- Premier sond system, Kenwood CD Player and 6 Pioneer speakers I believe is what they are.

Interior Factory Red Velvor seats, Electronic Climante Control All power incluing seats.

That's the way to buy them, with a lot of the hard work done. Now you have to see it through to the end. As mentioned above, keep us in the loop.

1- Cobra R's or Shelby GT 500 w/5 lug swoop
2-2 15's w/1500 watt amps 2 of them
and a new Alpine Cda 9815 cd player or Eclipse cd player
w/1500 watt amp to subs and 400 watt amp to speakers.
3-custom made diamond pate Angle eyes headlights and cutom Euro Clear w/ tinted taillights.

 What should I do first.

1st the spoiler looks good

This is what you should do but a picture is worth a 1000 words just remeber your not the 1st one of thinking about some GT500 wheels.

The black and chromes are $135 each at Discount stock offset is 25 make sure to get the 24mm offsets

Also heres a link to a nice 5 lug swap kit with 31 spline axles for $400

Last of all if you get the rims i would paint the car all Black with 2 red racing stripes like the 07 Redline GT500s Concepts they where $1500 more over the Base GT500s.

Note it is not my car at all and is a hell of a nice ride for the price and within a year or less will look great. 2nd of all not everyone likes my ideas But welcome to the site and this is not the only way to fix up the car its just what i would do and thats all.

The headlights sound like a nice idea and i would like to see how they turn out.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
