hi all im in need of a header panel for my 83 cougar

any difference between the 83 and 86? we are getting ready to part out an 86 5.0 car. let me know if your interested. header will need paint.

ive been told that there the same between 83-86

only thing that may be diff would be the front emblem mount but its doubtful

how soon are you needing one? it might be a few weeks before I can get my hands on it.

I have one from an '84 sitting in my garage, but I'm not going to mess with shipping it however.

83-84 and 85-86 have a different style grille, and 83 is the only year to have an upright emblem, other than that, yeah they're pretty much the same.

and the grill's are bolt on... not too sure on the stand up emblem i know the 84-86 emblem is bolt on so id say the earlier one is too
