Vacuum canister question.....

With the E303,do you think that a vacuum canister (saw one from Jegs) would help? Also, will they work with EFI?How do they work?

How much vacuum are you pulling at idle?  A booster only needs 12-15 inches of vacuum to work properly.

I'll get the details about the canister and post them.I had heard that an E303 was very borderline for vacuum needs.

Meaning that the cam barely gives the Sport enough vacuum.I'm trying to figure out why the car is barely idling when I come to a stop.I have to bump it into neutral to keep it from dying at every stoplight.I hate that. It's driving me crazy.I've checked all the vacuum lines, changed the IAC,TPS,and intake gaskets.I bought one of those IAC spacer plates that is supposed to help fix the idle.I haven't tried it yet.I have to find some instructions for it.Anybody have any?

what's your idle set at?  You WILL need to adjust it so that it is higher than stock.

It's up and down.LOL.It was set about 1000 to keep it running.Anything less and it wouldn't idle for very long even in Park.
