Car Is Running Again....

Well, at least for today, my car is running good for now. The new mechanic can fixed it in 1 1/2 hours, but he says (like some of you guys say) that my car has the incorrect distributor on the car. I have two systems, and in the near future i will be able to put the correct dist. The problem was the cables of the TFI. The last mechanic cant put them correctly, and now the new can get correct. The mech wanted to get the car at the workshop to quit all unnecesary cables, and maybe he did well. Only the time will reveal it...

Tomorrow will be time to do some reparations (the carb needs SERIOUS cleaning) but at least, with newer electrical parts installed the car can last another 3 years to visit again the Workshop....

Thank you all guys ! i need a long drive in this car. Nothing drives like a cougar (except a Tbird). Riding the truck of my father is great, but not like the car....

Hey Haystack, how is going the work with the car ? i hope that you can drive your car soon....

A little question that is not related with electrical tech (is not necessary to open a new topic for it ). Since my car was sat for very much time , the paint is not shiny. I washed and waxed the car today, but i want better results. Any product in special ?

Perhaps one of the popular three step systems. Like Mequires Clean, Polish, and Wax Kit. It take a good buffer or a whole lotta elbow grease.
