O2 sensors? July 04, 2008, 12:50:50 PM So this maybe (is :hick: ) a dumb question but here we go. My 88 T-bird has the factory, 129,000 mile, 20 year old oxygen sensors on it. It's one of those things I forgot to change when I swapped in the HO and I just keep forgetting to get around to. Soooo how much is this costing me performance/gas mileage wise? I'm guessing I should probably change them When I run codes I get no lean or rich codes so I guess they are still working ok....... Quote Selected

O2 sensors? Reply #2 – July 07, 2008, 06:06:57 PM Performance wise ain't costing you anything... O2 sensors are ignored by the EEC at WOT... As far as part throttle yes it's possible new sensors could give a bit better mileage and drivability, then maybe not... Quote Selected
