We (@ Sofos) get the eve of the holiday off, personally i would just rather work a normal work week but that would cost them too much.Oh and i finally found out why i cant do Marcos mushrooms any more , because a good deal of the local Marcos buy Chinese mushrooms grown and picked in the peoples republic of China. It just really stinks that we have to be open on a Holiday. I did get paid Double time and a half though. Even though I guess to be real American's we need to Bitch about something. I'm considered part time so I dont get holiday pay or anything either. Wasnt a bad day though they had me on the phones so i got to listen to all the people calling and asking if we where open today after i asked them how can i direct your call... I wanted to tell them No i decided to come in to work so I can answer the phone on the 4th. the 4th should go parade, BBQ, fireworks, I dont see any place for shopping in there.
