Automatic Shift T handle Reply #19 – July 03, 2008, 09:14:09 PM I snagged an entire shifter including leather handle when I first switched to a std. thinking I could adapt it. Now I can find the shifter base, the bezel but not the handle :hick: Quote Selected
Automatic Shift T handle Reply #20 – July 18, 2008, 03:55:57 PM I am putting the Mk7 shifter into my 88 Cat. No big hole to cut in the floor pan, and the rear mounting holes are already in the pan. What I wanted to know is how do you get the shifter off? It's leather and I want to recondition it before I put it in. Quote Selected

Automatic Shift T handle Reply #22 – July 18, 2008, 05:03:21 PM If it's on the shifter like the Birds and Cats, you push in the button, and then twist and pull like a viking to get it off. Quote Selected
