Notching motor mount to fit shortys?

I got a set of hooker shortys and put them on, but in order for them to fit right, I had to notch the driver side motor mount.
Did anyone have to do the same?

I had to grind the driver's side motor mount on mine but I used FMS GT40P shorties, which have a know fitment issue.

Mine clear w/o issue :hick:

But seriously, it is a common thing for guys to have to "mod" the stock mounts to clear some aftermarket headers.
