Ok guys, help me out here! can i use a m-5300-b kit with Front spring rates (lb./in) - 425/530.Rear spring rates (lb./in) - 200/300...........i ve read the explanation on the other thread, but i dont understand where and how do you see the load rating, i also dont know whats the load rating on mine......i know i have a smaller engine which means a lighter front end.....spring rates, the more it is the better right.....jeeze im so confused, ive read all the threads on the forums, and everyone is saying something different.....like someone says dont use the c kit, but then on another thread , two guys have the c kits on their car......there should be a write up , like a list kinda thing, where it shows your model, how much it weighs in the back and in the front, and what kits will fit your your model......i wanted to go for ST springs but , i cant find em......ok so now im looking to buy ford racing motorsport springs......but there is so many, c,b,f,j,g.....i dunno...PLEASE HELP ME GUYS, i wanna shoot myself.....

I bought the C-springs, The rear-end hieght was tooooooo low (the body of the car went past the tires). My exhaust system was like a rake and it sped EVERYTHING on the road. So right now I got C spring in the front which are perfect ( a nice 2 finger gap from tire to fender) and TC springs that I got from Nate which gave me a 3 finger gap on the rear tires. So I'm looking to even things out this spring (no pun intended :) ) and put something different in the rear. So in my opinion  stay away from the C springs.

sorry about being late. I used the Bullitt Springs. the rear sits 1/2 lower that the front as of now. plan on taking out the front isolaters and adding X2 balljoints to even things up. overall it dropped about 1 1/2 inch. i'm happy with it for now.

i bought teh kit from gefracing.com. it includes Tokico Struts/Shocks/Springs/Swaybars. BE AWARE that this kit contains ZERO hardware! It runs for $400. click for kit.

There is also the Mach 1 kit. [here]  Slightly cheaper w/o swaybars (you can only use the rear one anyways... i still haven't sold my front one.) Same results. If you want just springs you'll have to shop around a bit for them. check ebay/stangnet/corral... they usually show up quite often. I remember seeing them at mps used. i don't remember the prices though.

thunder - Look at some 94+ rear springs...they are a little shorter and lighter than the stockers...

blackwidow..

This has been covered a zillion times and the C kits are my choice for fronts...they have a higher spring rate than any of the stockers or any of the other FRPP kits.  The rears are VERY light when it comes to load rating, but I've been saying that unbtil I'm blue in the face.

Several guys have begun to use the 94-04 lowering springs on their cars with good results, and that is what I suggest for anyone looking.  The Bullitt or the FRPP F kits are good starting points.

I'm planning on going coil-overs on my cars, so I'm not buying any more springs to "try out", but I've been running C kits on the front of 3 different cars for well over 6-7 years and have been doing my own thing to lower the rear end down with stock Tbird or 94+ convert springs.
