Appreciation Thread

I just wanted to take a minute to let you all know how much I appreciate all of you as well as this forum.  Everybody has been nothing short of wonderful.  To all who have helped me, and to all who will eventually help me.  THANKS.

I have found more information, and more parts in the 6 months that I have been here that I cannot believe it.  I feel sorry for those other car owners who do not have a forum such as this.  I just wish I would have found you all a lot sooner.  I just cannot believe how a lot of you will go out of your way to help.  You take valuable time away from your work, family, hobbies, and personal time for somebody you have often not yet met.  It is cool to share the same passion for these cars with others.  My friends just do not understand the love I have for my Thunderbird.  I feel badly for them.  I’m glad you all get it.

I am not going to drop names in fear of leaving somebody out, plus the list grows every day.  You know who you are and what you have done for me.  You make me want to help others here as well... and I will.  I am not only talking about those who have provided parts for my car.  I'm talking to everybody who has offered suggestions, links, information, etc.  You all deserve a pat on the back.  Keep it up!  This place rocks.  I appreciate all you do.

Strange how a common denominator can bring out the best in people, isn't it?

We are more than a fourm of guys and ladies taht love these old unrespected cars, we ARE a Family. we all my have our differances but when it really comes down to it taht all means nothing. What other place do you guys go to were ppl will give you parts just because you need them? I have given away a few things here and there and also been on the recieveing side. I can honestly say if it wasnt for CoolCats and this fourm I think I would have sold my car along time ago and bought a mustang or a camaro.

Thanks to everyone and especially to the ones that started it all!

I’m very happy I found this forum if it wasn’t for this site I might have moved on as well but I learned alot here. I always loved the style of our cars but the performance was down and in the beginning I trolled for info but then learning the computer then getting one I decided to sign on and the guys here seem great, no clicks just good guys its what I see. Guys giving good advice and the same guys over and over not getting tired of it.

I never would have found both quarter panels for my car, If I never came across Eric's site with the links to our forum. My car would have been history, and those panels were the deciding factor in the restoration of my baby.
In return, I decided to teach and show with as many pics and descriptions of everything that I am doing, along with everything that I know about Panel welding, body work, and painting. I hope It's useful knowledge for someone someday.

Thanks to all, that are making my car new again.

When I first started into the Cougars (when I started driving), I began searching the internet for information/parts/etc and I found CougarNuts. From there, I was reffered to this site, and once I found this forum, I found CoolCats

I wouldn't be where I am today without this community, and I thank everyone.... !

This site is nothing but software running on a web host. It's the people that make it special. You all should be thanking yourselves...

This site is great where family sometimes we don't get along but we all try and take cars that where nice and kind of under powered and bring them back to the classy looks of stock or even update them to closer to todays stock and aftermarket parts. Plus with this site there always someone or a lot of people trying something different or wiring up something. Your T-Bird looks very nice and a lot of it is done at this point but i hope you get it 95%+ where you want it. Going on a trip hope i see something in Oklahoma that might give me a idea for my 2 new rides last time i saw a truck with a FORD 429 red and black 2 tone sounded mean and burned the tires like they where nothing hope everyone has a good few days and i will post up some pics as soon as i get a Camera.

Here Here!!!  :)

A community needs a location (the software on the web host) and the individuals that make up the community (lol, I guess that'd be us) and finaly, the common ground.
