Miscelaneous front end parts

Grille
Headlight doors (Pair) Argent or Black, both need painting
Turn Signals (Pair)
Marker lights (pair)

Make me a fair offer.

PM me if you want photos.

I went to the local Pull-A-Part today to get repair parts for my '86, and some of these were just too good to leave behind.  Right now, they have two 84's and three 86's on the lot, plus two 87's.  Lemme know if you need something else and I'll look for it next time I go out there.

Ooops.  Sorry, Chuck.  That would be Birmingham, AL

As for the turnies, umm, lessee, $11.50 each ($23 for the pair) and you pay shipping.  If you want the piece of metal for the back side of the bumper too, I'll throw that in.  They're still mounted on that. Could save a few pennies if removed for shipping weight though.

The whole front end of one of the 87's in that yard was in great shape (for a junker).  IIRC, all pieces were there, though.  I won't swear on the condition, though.  May be sun crazed, dunno. I was looking for Four Eye stuff, so didn't look that close at the 87's.  I'll have a look again when I go back next weekend.  It should still be there.  Hopefully they'll have some more/different ones on the lot by then.

I'd rather give good parts a home than to let 'em be simply crushed.

Got both sides, 'cause I couldn't remember which side you said.  Probably better to put both on with same age ennyhoo.

I'm looking for the cover that goes in front of the sunroof on a 87 tbird  in case you see one.

Haven't seen one in the yard with a sun roof yet.  But, will keep looking.  It appears they're getting more Fox bodies in lately.  Maybe I started something.  They're not on the yard long, though.  The one I got the header and fender from has already been sacrificed to the crusher gods.

Anyone got any suggestions for getting the security lugs off the studs without damaging the wheels?  I found a set of 8-holers (14 inch) that would look good on my ride, but don't have anything to get the security lug off.  I'm sure it's hardened so I can't bite it with a pipe wrench or anything.  Don't have a battery powered grinder to grind some flat spots on 'em either.  Otherwise, the full set of 8 holers would be mine.

Old Paint, I'm in the same boat.  I have security lugs on my 88 and even with the lug socket, they are frozen on there and stripped.  cut off wheel or grinder is all I can see getting them off....unless someone tried the "cold air can and hammer trick", lol.

I ground flats on them and they won't budge one bit.  I think the auto-shop that put these tires on had impacted them on too tight.  I'm taking the loss of AR aluminum wheels and Michelin weather handlers....ouch!

Deep socket. you pound them over the locking lug and use a breaker bar. thats how they steal rims off peopls cars minus the breaker bar

if you have to, chisel out all the lugs. Its a pain, but I wasted many grinding wheels and cut off wheels and two dremel's trying to get two lugs off back in the day. 10 minutes with a chisel was prolly a couple hours with a cut off wheel.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Yeah, it was raining and I was getting impatient.  It didn't dawn on me to try the air chisel.  Stubborn , though.
