For Sale...'87 Cougar 20th Anniversary Edition!!!

I've got an '87 Cougar for sale in Salina KS....I am asking $700 or best offer for it. It runs great, body is straight, would make a great restoration. I have driven it daily for 6 months never any problems. Interior is not in the greatest of shape. I thought I would throw it up on here and give someone who actually appreciates these cars a chance to buy it before I list it locally and sell it to someone who will drive it til it dies!! I am gonna list it here for a week then list it locally. Anybody interested let me know!

if anyone is interested, i recenly found an interior cloth that matches the 20th interior.  Its not the exact stuff but it is very hard to tell them apart.

Looks to be pretty good shape apart from the missing trim peice and speaker cover. Someone needs to buy this and fix it up.

It's close enough to me that it's feasible, and I'm going to try to.

dig up all threads by jcassity and IIRC, the interior match is in body/appearance.  700 isnt a bad price but thats my opinion.  Many cars in that shape pull the same amount.

It would be nice to have an under the hood shot and to see what the seats look like with the covers off.

Well we had a heck of a storm last night and i got some hail damage and a broken windshield so now I guess the old cougar will have to go to the junkyard.....

What is the deal with the gold grille?  Did some dealers have some of the grilles gold plated with that electro-plate stuff or is this a New York car show car?
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"
