Aluminum diff cover for CHEEEEEEEAP !!!

If you want a nice looking 8.8 differential cover for cheap, get one from a newer Mercury Marquis or Crown Vic ("newer" meaning the last 10 years). They have aluminum covers.I grabbed one and started polishing it.The yard didn't even charge me for it.It's a stamped aluminum piece, but it'll look nice.I may upgrade to a differential girdle one day,but for free, can't beat it.I have a cast iron "Rock Crusher" rear cover now. It's heavy with webbing. It's from a company in Australia that makes them for rock crawlers. It does look cool, though.

I try not to look under my car... Everything under there except for the exhaust system and U joints is 100% OEM Ford...

Anyway IF I go out and rob the one off the wifes '07 Grand Marquis, she may get pissed...

If she catches you, just tell her the gasket was leaking so you're changing it. ;)
