T-5 swap...quick wiring question May 08, 2008, 06:54:36 PM Well, if I end up running into problems, I plan on not wiring up the Neutral Safety switch and Clutch interlock switch...will that create any issues?...other than being able to start it without hitting the clutch. Thanks,Don Quote Selected

T-5 swap...quick wiring question Reply #5 – May 08, 2008, 10:27:37 PM At least wire the neutral safety wires to the switch on the tranny so it doesn't start in gear. That shouldn't take more than a whole 2 minutes Quote Selected
T-5 swap...quick wiring question Reply #6 – May 10, 2008, 09:02:23 PM Believe it or not, I'm having a hell of a time finding a proper neutral safety switch...If it starts in gear, so what? I think I know better...lol. It's a force of habit for me everytime I get into a stick car...hit the clutch, throw it in neutral, then hit the key.Plus if I ever break down, I can still move the car easily until the starter or battery quits...lmao.-Don Quote Selected
T-5 swap...quick wiring question Reply #7 – May 12, 2008, 03:32:46 PM I plan to wire it up correctly soon. The sole reason being I routinely bump over the engine at the solenoid using a screwdriver. The last thing I need is to crank it over in gear by accident and run my own a$$ over. But for now, it only sits awaiting a paint job. I don't drive it nor work on the engine. Mine has the switch (and my clutch assembly also has a switch). I cant seem to find the correct connector for the NSS though. I plan on just wiring it through the clutch switch. Quote Selected
