Center console for 85 T-Bird Turbo Coupe

Hey guys, I saw the thread below but didn't want to butt in. I too am looking for a blk or grey center console. I would like a full length one but will look at other ideas. I need one before I put in the new carpet. Need to know whether to cut up the center and just put a boot cover over the shifter or keep everything the same as stock. Thanks guys..

I have a full-length gray one out of an 84 TC. Same as an 85 except for the style of top plate, though I have a later style top plate. $100 plus shipping. Comes with everything!

Uncleford, you may want to get a picture from P71 to see what "everything" means. That may be the best way to go in the long run. His parts are represented fairly and he ships quickly. That may sound like a lot of money, but have you priced a console lid lately? You can drop $50-$60 on one of those in a hearbeat. Switch panels aren't getting any cheaper either. I don't mean to butt in, I'm just saying if you start piecing things together, you may wish you bought everything at once. Just my $.02.

Hey no problem, I don't know what the norm is for the console. I was going to buy one from another member last month for $50 shipped. It was black with no broken parts and looked like it had most of the parts with it (I couldn't see the brackets) but the guy flaked and stopped returning my pm's. Maybe he's on vacation er somthing, anyway.....
If I could find a good one in the jy it would be pretty cheap...but good is the key word.

I need some pics of cars w/ out the console for more ideas...anyone?
