Thank god the floors in my 66 have already been done. It's a '65. My late Father gave it to me when I was 14 years old. It didn't look much better than the before pic when I drove it to high school, but I sure loved it!We used a one piece floor in it. There was literally nothing left of the car. Frame rails, wheelhouses, floor, crossbraces, apr0ns, cowl, firewall, radiator support, quarters, fenders, doors - it's all new. I'm restoring it because it was given to me by my Father. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth it. Here's where I'm going with it... hence my screen name. Quote Selected

The garage from Hell Reply #18 – April 14, 2008, 11:56:04 PM Yikes! Glad I live @ 460 ft above sealevel!Nice cars - I had a '71 'Stang & my boss has a white version of the Porsche so I am somewhat familiar - though all I own is the Cougar now (well, and the T-Bucket) :hick:I'm getting a lift this year - any recommendations? I was looking at a Bend-Pak HD-9 4-post lift. I'm glad you said it was the best as I'm getting really tired of the cramped auto-pit and a lift sounds good at this stage in my life. Quote Selected

That's really something! I haven't started my engine work yet. The one and only time I took the car to the track, it ran a 17.82. I got smoked by a 4 door POS import and came home with my tail between my legs.My lift is a Perfect Park 7000. When I bought it about 12 years ago, it was the best one out there. Since then, the Backyard Buddy people have made major improvements to their lift. Also, the Bend-Pak is a first class piece. Trust me, you'll love it. The four post is great, because you can move it, and you can store two cars in one space. Quote Selected

The garage from Hell Reply #22 – April 15, 2008, 07:47:01 AM Seems to me rearanging the garage to get one care out is a good excuse to take them all for a little drive to make sure storage hasn't had ill effects on them. Poor . Quote Selected

The garage from Hell Reply #29 – April 16, 2008, 01:11:03 AM Quote from: ivygreen;214005The lift is the best thing ever. The garage configuration is what sucks. I couldn't go wider because of my lot size, so I made it two cars deep. If, heaven forbid, you want a car out of the back, everything has to move...including the daily drivers outside. There was, and still is another option for you. Have you ever seen this? http://aclifts.com/parking/pss-7/index.html Check out the Videos! With this you could add 4 more cars to that garage!!
