The garage from Hell April 14, 2008, 09:19:17 PM So, I still haven't started on my suspension/brake project, but I did wrestle the car out of the garage - a major project in itself. Never build a narrow, deep garage...First, just to get it down off the lift, everything had to be moved...Then it all had to come out... (please ignore the rental property next door. If it ever comes up for sale, I'm going to buy it and knock it down) Phew! I finally got it... Now, it's all gotta go back in, but in a different order...Man! I'm too tired to work on the T-Bird. I need a nap. Maybe tomorrow. :D Quote Selected

I hate to see it go, but I need the money to finance this restoration...my first car. I've had it for 30 years.Start...Now...About the only original steel left is the roof.Quote from: Chuck WClean looking '83Thanks Chuck. I was thinking of using the same wheels as you when I do the five lug swap. They'll almost look like twins, so I may do something else. Your car was one of the ones that made me want to get back working on mine. Quote Selected

I just told the wife our next house needs a big garage with a lift and be able to hold at least 3 cars, she said okay lol.The lift is the best thing ever. The garage configuration is what sucks. I couldn't go wider because of my lot size, so I made it two cars deep. If, heaven forbid, you want a car out of the back, everything has to move...including the daily drivers outside. Quote Selected
The garage from Hell Reply #13 – April 14, 2008, 10:51:10 PM That Mach made me cry. Reminded me of my dads old 71 Fastback which he had to sell do to no job... which is the reason I got the cougar... for the father and son project that never happened. And if I had the money I would love to have it just to give it to him.
