Quick Coolant Tank Swap Question Reply #3 – April 04, 2008, 09:28:48 PM Just got back from the 'yard, needed a few small things~Of course it starts pouring right after i get there...They got in a new '87 (funky options, CFI V6 auto with premium and power everything, power recline seats!) and it had the front/side radiator mount coolant tank on it! so i snagged it.It actually pretty much looked the same as the one on the markvII.Looks like i lucked out :hick:, Thanks though vinnie and pimp. Quick Coolant Tank Swap Question Reply #6 – April 06, 2008, 08:27:25 PM I just went out and test fit it, Looks like i'll need to drill and thread the middle and lower bolt locations. But the upper mount has a notch along with the bolt, and it fits snuggly and perfectly aligns the unit into place, like it was meant to be :hick:, just need to thread the hole. This is the style im using btw:Looks like i'll need to take the bumper cover off to drill the holes, already had the header panel unbolted, which made moving the tank around much easier.
