The final goodbye's for my '85...

Welp, I've decided the '85 is too far gone to save, so I loaded her up on the trailer tonight.
Man it was a fun car, when I bought it in '99.  My first car...  This is the car that taught me how to swap drivetrains.  Hell I even wleded up all the swiss cheese holes and the A/C openings....

I have been enjoying the XR-7 and T-bird too much to even look at the '85, so it has sat in that same shape for 3 years now.  I am sick of it sitting there rotting, so it is going to the junkyard in the sky...
I still have a few things I want to remove this weekend (8.8" diff, all trim and glass, and the TC hood) but it wont take long.
R.I.P...:toilet: :burnout:  :(

I feel ya man.  My SC Sits in my driveway.  I can't let it go yet.  Its drive train is perfect (and a beast) and its a sound car .  Its got a bad case of cancer underneath.  I keep hoping a 92'ish Frame will roll my way and I can swap everything over.

It's always a sad day when another one goes to the yard.

not all of them...  you have the fenders, and I still have the front clip and quarter panels off of it, and tiallights, and other misc. parts.

hahaha, you could prbably buy another convertible cougar for cheaper then I would ask for the GFX right now....  I have no intentions to sell them, as I am still on the hunt for another nice four eye.
