Finally pulled the engine out of the '88 XR-7...with a few other parts

I finally moved and got around to pulling the motor, T-5, and front suspension out...in one fell swoop...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk1p5voEkuc

it was the quickest way i could figure to do it...not necessarily the easiest...my buddy in the truck...well I had to yell at him a few times towards the end.

ENJOY!

Yeah, that's how it was done...my cousin...a.k.a. the jackman, didn't pull back on the jack handle like I was telling him to...instead he just watches it pen 15 sideways...lol.  When the body dropped, it missed the shift handle by very small fractions of an inch.

My buddy in the Ranger probably would have dragged that car around the whole neighborhood if I hadn't yelled at him to stop so many times...lol.

If you noticed, that wasn't the highest resolution digital camera.  There are a bunch of small imperfections, doors are rotted at bit at the bottoms and it had been hit in the front at one time or another...

I was playing with the stinkin' strut mounts most of the time in that video...I should have left them on the car and just unbolted the struts from them...ended up making my life more of a hassle. lol
