It doesn't take much to get to 10 grand these days. I think I got 12 into my car right now since I started, and it's nothing spectacular in the performance dept. figure I'll have another 5-7 in it before I'm totally done.

Sometimes you have to do what your doing to get ahead and have fun again. honestly, I'm starting to not have fun building mine anymore. I'm going to get the motor in, in a couple weeks and park it for the winter i think.  we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll do the body on the vert. I have way more fun doing that then mechanical.

Good luck on your next adventure Bob.....

I've been thinking about calling it quits for months now with this project and finally decided thats what I need to do.  Just not enough time in the week for family, work, and school.  I'm going to part the cougar out so look for a HUGE parts thread coming soon in the next couple days.

Well ...

I understand. On a smaller scale that is why I havent touched anything mechanical on any of my cars in a few weeks. It became a c and I almost dreaded working on them.

Well things changed this week.  With adding up the potential loses with selling everything, I've decided last night to keep the cougar and continue forward.

Sorry for the drama last week, it shouldn't happen again LOL.  I'm going to trade my truck in very soon and pick up a car to drive and blast around with.  The cougar will get done when it's done.  I just have to get back into accomplishing small tasks with it and try not to get overwhelmed like I have been.

So my next major update to this thread should be of a perfectly running engine and me driving it for the first time,  I think once I drive the cougar with the 408 I'll be hooked and things will not seem so difficult anymore.
