Time to put it together

Hey guys remember me? I saved the kitty cat from the bad man with the crusher. I have cleaned the firewalls and painted flat black, rehosed, cleaned and painted a lot of parts. And oh yeah, rebuilt the turbo. Now it's time to put it together. Problem is when I went to but the top end gasket set they want to know the specific manufacture date. I can't read mine inside the door. There was a change in the mid year 1986. It looks like it would be significant because there is a large price difference. Does anyone know what it was or how I figure out what kit to buy?

when i was looking for a headgasket set for my v6 i had the same issue with early/late 86 production change, but never found out what the difference was. i cant seem to find a "mechanical" difference for that year.

does the bucktag on the upper radiator support have the manufacturing date on it?
