how about the aerodynamics of an aerobird? March 08, 2008, 02:24:03 AM well my car is stock so it goes through the air like it was supposed to. what have some of you guys done to effect the aerodynamics? i know some have put the mach 1 chin spoiler. i havnt really seen a functional wing on a cougarbird. all i know is i can slice through the dirty air from a tractor trailer, and just the other day i was almost sucked into the front of a house b/c it was on a trailor goin about 65mph and i passed at 75 (in a 70 zone). have any of you that have lowered the car seen big differences?and thunderchicken when it clears up outside i'll get pics of my sunvisors. Quote Selected

Reply #1 – March 08, 2008, 02:52:40 AM The wing on my yellow cat is actualy functional, but then, it may be a bit much for some as well, but it IS functional. I did not buy it for function in particular, but, I like that it is none the less. Rain water hits my rear window from under the wing at around 60+. Kinda neat, but makes a big mess as well. I need to make a video of it one day just for kicks. :D I have not noticed a huge difference in the aerodynamics of the car though. I think are cars have good aerodynamics to begin with.Lowering has to help some, just not sure how much, or how low you want to go. Quote Selected
