hydrobooster Reply #5 – February 28, 2008, 10:26:20 AM This is a terrible post with very little info. You can do a lot better and make this of interest for the future. Is the Lincoln hydroboost the same as the Turbo Coupe, ran by separate pump or does it use the power steering pump?Unless you had high need for vacuum for other things I don't know why the hydroboost system would work better. Tell us exactly how it works and why you thought you needed it.Pictures and instructions would be nice. Any problems with the conversion? Does it take up less room? I know there are terrible for weight.TED Quote Selected
hydrobooster Reply #6 – February 28, 2008, 10:48:10 AM it runs from ps pump. it also has 2000 psi caliper pressure . hydroboost is great for large cams or boosted engines that have low vacuum. as for the weight ill know tomorrow when i do the swap. my reason for it is i have 22s and their heavy so the extra stopping force is needed. another thing is if the car dies you still have 3 assisted stops .
