87 Turbo Coupe Project (with pictures!)

Hi everyone. Ive been to cat jam for the last 3 years now with out my car, and everytime ive said "hopefully next year the car will make it."

Im sure most of you dont give much thought to it if someone says this to you at a show. I mean, lets face it we live in a world where seeing is believing.

Well anyways, its been a long 3 years for me as far as this project is concerned. I started this project when i was living in a small apt. up in pa and have sinced moved to maryland and purchaced my first house (all while the car was nearly immoble... meaning no engine, wheels, rear, ect...). I tore it down in pa and had parts everwhere then had to basically put it back to gether to move it and then take it apart again. Oh, and did i mention i got the car from va!

So from va to pa to md its been crazy, but i finally got it on the road last oct.! Anyways, i know how it is with you all and pictures (im the same way) so let me get started!

Here are a couple pictures of the car from before i started with it! I started out with an 87 tcoupe with no top end, no turbo, no turbo hood, and no turbo coupe wheels...basically the guy i got it from was using it as a parts car. The plus side was it was dirt cheap and i didnt need any of that stuff anyway because i had tons of parts from my last tbird!

The previous pictures are from when i was in pa. during 2005. These next pictures are in maryland 2006. This car is in good shape, but it did have some rust forming in some of the typical places...little did i know it was way worse then i thought in the lower strut towers. Here are some pics of how i fixed it!
