wrecked 04 Mach 1....worth parting out? D.U.W.

he's asking $4k for it. 65,000 miles and motor/trans are supposed to be good. i was going to go take a look at it, and see if the motor cranks over.

Do it! The seats, gauges, center stack trim, spoiler, and taillights are all easy sales. Plus the rear-end, exhaust, rear bumper, brakes, etc, etc...

You won't make $4K, but in between selling off whatever mod motor you have now and parting the rest of that car out you'd have a pretty "affordable" Mach 1 drivetrain for swapping.

I thought you were KEEPING the motor! :hick:

You'd definitely get more then $4000 for everything.

Don't forget the C-pillars/glass are worth big $$$, and the side scoops too. The engine/trans/wiring as a unit will fetch from $2000-$4000 on evilbay depending on mileage and whether or not it runs.

The front suspension/brakes and rear-end/brakes will also bring good $$$.

It's not IRS is it?

I don't see how the engine could be undamaged.

Manual trans = forged crank.

That'll cost you a pretty penny to get from a recycler. Take a look at car-part.com if you don't believe me.

ok, you started it!

i want the lower air dam. what i can see of it in the pic looks undamaged even though the bumper cover is split.

for $4k, if you can front the money, id say you will make a profit on the deal.

It fits perfect on a Crown Vic nose as well ;)

I'd be interested in the motor/trans, but I'm spending my money on college :(

Might be seriously interested in the brakes though...

i would have to call DIBS on the seats and possibly some odds and ends. spoiler maybe. possibly the upper shaker if its not fubar. it looks okay. 3rd brake light. rear quarter glass. take a look at that exhaust under that thing as i could be interested as well as any other mods.... if you have the cash you would be nuts not to buy it. id offer 3500 and go from there. id kill for a deal like that. id scoop that up andswap everything into an 88 sport with a tcoupe nose.

I would love to see that chin spoiler on our cars...anyone have a pic or a photoshop to see what it would look like.

4K is a good price...might even worth putting it back together and make a profit.....or just part it out.
