I agree that street racing can be dangerous but this is stupid... they weren't even involved in it... from the sounds of the article the idiot in the crown vic never even had his lights on.... the spectaors got killed by being stupid and walking out into the middle of a public road, not by the speeding racers.... guess what? that same thing will kill you if you walk out into the middle of the road WITHOUT RACING!!!! Details aren't quite clear yet about the lights (I've checked in on the articles several times and details keep changing), but yes, it was ultimately the idiots that ran out in the road that are at fault...but the were in the road to watch the street racers. It's one thing to race another car on a deserted road at night...quite another to invite a ton of friends and family who apparently thought the best view was the middle of the road. Ultimately I will reserve judgement on the Vic' driver until the details are fully known. Probably a good thing to reserve judgement on everyone until it is all known. Quote Selected
