Well, there you have it.
Chrysler builds yet another performance car that weighs over 4,000 lbs and isn't available with a manual transmission.
To be honest, I don't really like the front end of the car. The massive, solid bumper design just seems out of proportion to the inset grille and headlights. I think "big chin" whenever I see a shot of the front.

Now that ya mention it, it is kinda big-chinned LOL

I still can't wait to see em on the streets. Couple guys at the local Fri and Sat night wendy's lot hangout I'm almost positive will each have one, the one is a HUGE mopar nut, last year he was talkin my ear off practically listing off the entire build sheet he was planning lol. I hope he gets what he wants!
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft

Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

Isn't the Shelby GT500 dangerously close to 4000 pounds?

In this age of mobile office/livingroom/bedroom/spa/entertainment center cars full of airbags, ABS, and other nanny-the-occupants safety gear 4000 pound cars are going to become the norm, not the exception. I think a modern Civic weighs almost as much as a Fox Birdcat...

At least not yet. All 2008 models will be automatics only, but 2009 models will have a Tremec 6-speed manual available.

I completely agree, the overall shape of the car screams vintage E-Body but it just looks like a much "chunkier" version of the original. ;)

It's gonna be a close choice between a 2009 Challenger R/T with a manual and a Mustang Shelby GT when I get out of school. :burnout:

Exactly, I just checked the door tag on my Tib and she taps out at 3836 lbs. Add my ass to the driver's seat and she's over 4000 :fart:
