CAI....Cold Air Induction kit.It has the K&N air filter, special cold air box,and air ducting. The kit replaces all of the factory stuff and really helps a lot on the air intake and cold air induction (get it?) for the engine.I have a MAC cold air kit on my car.

if he runs a scoop, a box under it with a open filter, its gonna drive the rain right in it.

as long as there is a drain hole in the bottom of the box he will be fine...  When I had my 85 5.0L Cougar I had a 69 mach one hood scoop on it that I cut out the hod underneath it to make it functional....  drove it in ALL kinds of weather, including downpours so bad you could hardly see ten feet in front of you...

NEVER any issues...  I have even hit the filter with a quick blast from the pressure washer to prove a point to my buddy too...  as long as it doesnt suck up a BUCKET full at a time, alittle water is actually good for the inside of the engine when it is running...  ever hear of steam cleaning?  thats what it does.  how bout those water/meth injector kits?  if you believe those scoops will cause damage driving in the rain, then you must think those things will totally kill the motor right?
