My work (local pizza restaurant) was really busy last weekend, probably since it was Superbowl weekend.  Not sure about this weekend though.

Yeah I think it is slow everywhere my buddy works at an auto repair shop and he just went on a Disney Vacation with the family for a week, and he's one of their main guys.. so I guess its like that everywhere cause normally he can't take off.

People just ain't spending $$, I guess when tax money and rebate checks start flying around people will start to spending again.

I think post Christmas lull carries on through mid- Feb.  Then people start spending again.

Same goes for selling cars.

Wait till the heat hits.  You'll be wishing for a lull.

I'm working 7 days a week this winter,
I own a construction company, and usually I take off for about 3 months during winter.
This year, me and my son are working right through the winter.
Although, this isn't getting my car done like I had planned.

Not slow here, but then we're in the coal & mineral processing industry so things are only picking up.

We just got a $300,000-some sale today.

The recording business is usually slow these months as well.  Fortunately, this year, we are branching out and can't keep up with everything we want to do but that's unusual for the biz.

I work at a stair and truss manufacturer, people still need roofs over their heads and stairs to go up and down with.
