wtb or trade cams

I have a cam that is wayyyyy too agressive for EFI.  A carb guy could get away with this cam but not me.

Its very old but used very little.  I know it sat for a few years in its box before we put it in a friend of mine's engine and said engine is now in my white coug.

The brand was at that time "blue racer" which has been integrated into another company by now.

the numbers are below but you have to zoom in.

cam lift is .496intake and .520exhaust
cam duration is 290intake and 300exhaust

That cam should work fine with efi.
An f-cam is more agressive than that 512/512 and 288 duration.
Sounds like your cam has better exaust scavenging
Pick up a trickflow stage1 or at the very least an E-cam and stay away from the F-cam.

Scott what are the ICL,ECL and LSA for that cam?

It looks to be this one:
Wolverine / Blue Racer
 WG1037
 ADV. INT. -290°
 ADV. EXH. - 300°
 .050 INT. - 224°
 .050 EXH. - 234°
 int. lift - 0.496''
 exh lift - 0.520''
 lobe center exh/int - 107° / 117°
 basic RPM range - 2,000 - 4,800

Those lobe centers work out to a 112° LSA

By EFI do you mean Speed Density?

EFI
meaning ,, it is too much for an EFI setup.  WIth a carb'd setup it would work fine as it did with the 750 holley.

sorry on the late response,, im seriously in the market for a cam right now and hoping for an HO one soon if it goes through.

What do you make of the cam i posted up?  your technical thoughts on its intended application based on all the the good research you've done?

IF you want a smaller cam go buy a steeda cam #18 about the same is a B cam.

If you want a cam about like that one but maybe a little better get a Trick flow stage 1 cam.

That cam would work with Mass Air....Problem is it's not a roller.....IIRC that cam was actually marketed as a Ford Racing cam years back.  What are you looking to do?  Full HO conversion?  There are a couple of roller cams with the SO firing order that are a wee bit more aggresive than an HO cam....
