Hey come on down join the insanity!

Yeah that was schlodes' car I think. I remember him putting it up for sale. Real cool, that's the only way to get a 87/88 with a 2.3T. Very unique (and useful too!!! )
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

you sirs are correct!  it is schlodes old car, he misses it lol

and good news, it will remain 2.3 turbo for this year, then whether or not i go 429 TT.. well that's still up in the air.  i was originally planning to build a BBF f-150 street truck...

Ya know, it just feels weird to me to see that engine in that car.  Lol, not that I don't like it -- I think it's sweet actually.  You just expect to see an H.O. or something in a car that looks like that.

i love the ride height, it's going to sit how it is forever!  lol i'll never drop it.  i love everything about it, especilly the paint.  black with red pin stripe..  wow...  i plan to do some interior work, like put the original seats back in, get a 3 gauge pillar pod (throw boost, temp, and fuel in it) and then get an autometer tach and speedo in the main cluster.  and i'm still waiting on my headlight covers!  and i'm going to have a friend of mine restore the headlights..  fox bodies always need the headlights polished :P

i'd love to pick up another fox cougar to drop the 429 in..  it would be quiet the collection!  ps the 429, if i can find a bellhousing, with be bolted up with a 6 speed :D

the car will not be moded at all this year, unless i can find an 8.8" with maybe 4.10 gears, subframe connectors (which i have priced out already) and i'm looking for a 10" wide slick on either draglites or prostars... as well as a pair of matching skinnies, which some are floating out there but the price..  i need to sell my draglites (with practically brand new tires!) first lol
