a LOW mileage  (Aprox. 30,XXX) MINT condition RUST FREE 1 owner
'86 5.0L Cougar is worth?

What would you guys think....

$2,500 to $3,200 high end $1,500 to $1,800 low end depending on who buys it.

1,500-2,500 in my area.

in canada id guess a ceiling of around 3,500

In WNY about 4000 and up
saw one about a month ago for 4500  low miles and no winters

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

Depends on how bad you want it, and how hard it is to find one in your area. 5 years ago I paid $3k for my rust-free, 47k mile (at the time) 88 5.0 Thunderbird and was glad to have the opportunity since such a find is very rare around here.

I'd probably pay upwards of $4k for a mint, low-mile four-eye, but it'd have to be nearly perfect.

this one IS perfect....  even the same colour interior as my '85 Cougar....  should be able to finish the restoration with parts from it... ;)

86 is a great year IMO.  4 eye looks with SEFI.  I would be willing to pay $3000.

X2  65,000kms(39,000miles) for $500?!?!  i'll take five of them please....

well, I wasnt going to tell anybody until CJ, or atleast until it was home, but I just closed the deal on it and will be picking it up.  As soon as the guy comes down and gives me the rest of the cash for my XR-7....
