Aerobird,, go back and read,, bottom right hand corner will do sir. (attention to detail,,:D )

The only part missing from the photo I posted is reentry code, which is RE2. The blocks saying "Retirement" weren't enough for you?

No, your wrong and inexperienced.  The Nat'l defense would would have been bestowed on you no matter what. Your command just wanted to make it look like they were giving you something.  EVERYONE in bootcamp on up serving would have gotten the nat'l defence and they did.

Again, the Coast Guard is not the Army/Navy/Air Force. We have to go overseas, partite in a mission beyond standard scope, or directly support one of the theaters (such as the 110' Cutters patrolling the Gulf right now in support of Iraqi Freedom) to get that. Working a buoy tender on the Great Lakes will not cut it.

Aerobird, I don't know why you were discharged, or why JCass thinks you're less honorable than someone else, but I do know that you've done more for this country than I ever will, and for that I thank you.  That goes the same for all the other vets here on the forums.

I was standing down on this per CougarSE's logical wisdom which i agreed with until i checked my pm and got confussed .

Then all of a sudden, i get spanked for no reason. Heck,, I can think of many instances ive been insulted and i just handled it off line.  Who ever sent me that pm should be man or woman enough to clairfy it since the pm's are forum property. If you want to break my legs, be on the up and up and say who you are.  Silly people.....lol.

I was very surprised that my two posts could have been skewed this much.  I did not insult anyone, everyone who served has my respect.  No matter the 5 w's, all of us who served could have lost thier life.

My only reason for the two posts were to keep the misinformation or ambiguity down.

In return, folks pointed out i said things i did not.,,,,tyical and the norm as the proof is in the pudding.

someone has sent me a pm claiming they want to break my legs,, i insulted another member(s), and i broke some sort of rules.  That pm is circulair, ive just been theatened,,,,,:hick: gezz people.  We all here are missing the human element of the internet. If i had spoken to you on the phone and used the same wordking, it would have been taken in a "T" totally different way.

I find the below pm to be evidence of the very fact i am pointing out.  People cant read and soemhow, pointing out things and not being in the right click will earn you one of these.  Aint it awsome:D  Since i lost some sort of points i didnt know i had,, i need a refund pls,,lol.

there are many more waivers available now than prior years for meeting recruiting needs.  You would do good im sure.

I too had thought about joining the Air Force but while talking to my recruiter he told me that I would have to bring in all the documentation for my knee surgery I had a couple years back.  After their doctor looked it over he would have to check out my knee himself and I would have to take some additional physical tests.  I've put it off as I would like to go in after I graduate from college.

Scott, "Resident Forum Bitch" is a bot. RFB exists only so that board administration/discipline can be done anonymously. "You breaka da rules, I breaka you legs" is RFB's custom title, like Aeromike's "They call me the Birdman", my  "Veni Vidi Vroom" or your "senior member". It is not a threat. The only thing in that PM that was actually directed at you was "This forum is not the place for such arguments." Everything else was a form letter.

...and no, I did not give you the infraction. I was not even aware of this thread until just now (being on dialup I don't read every thread). Because RFB anonymizes infractions I don't know who did it.

Yeah , the only thing is i still have the pins and plates in. They told my parents that removing them would be cruel and unusual punishment. If i were to join up i would not want a desk job and i hate to say it but thats probably where they would stick me.

Scott, that line where it says the broken legs comment seems to be more of an avatar or slogan of some sort......

Here's the profile for the PM'er.
