FMIC w/factory air

I got the stinger fmic kit for my 88 t/c, but I want to keep the factory a/c(since this is the only car I have that has WORKING a/c) I was wondering if anybody else has done this, because I'm not sure exactly on how to go about moving the condenser an inch closer to the radiator like stinger says you have to get. I'm hoping to get this installed soon, because I'm getting my car ready for paint, and am painting all of the IC piping with the car. Thanks
