brake booster Reply #1 – January 04, 2008, 10:26:42 PM A 5.0 Mustang booster is a lot smaller than a stock thunderbird/cougar one, but I dunno if it'd clear a big block. Quote Selected

brake booster Reply #4 – January 05, 2008, 11:57:53 AM Mark, a 1994-95 Mustang 5.0 brake booster (non-Hydroboost years) is skinnier and will work perfectly for what you're doing. Just need to redrill one mounting hole in the firewall. For the m/c, you still have the cast iron one. From 1987-on the m/c was aluminum with the plastic reservoir. It's up to you which one to go with, but as of right now your setup is 2-line (both front, rear) whereas the newer setup is 3-line (left front, right front, rear). It can be replumbed but then you couldn't use a line-lock as easily. You may be better off keeping what you have. If anything you could upgrade to a Crown Vic m/c, which holds more fluid.
