I bet that headlight is really for an '89 and they just list it for an '88.  They have no listing at all for an '87 headlight and it should be the same part number.  I've seen several other parts places get the '88 and '89 headlights mixed up as well.

The 1987 Cougar headlamp was superceded by the 1988 Lincoln Continental headlight....they're the same thing. Maybe a search for a 1988-94 Conti will produce something.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I was told that the Mark VII lights would fit a Cougar. Is it true?If it is,I have them in great shape I've been wanting to sell.If I knew if they would fit,it would make it much easier to get rid of them.
