2012 Thundercats Calendar... Need pics (updated 5/2/2010) Reply #46 – August 01, 2008, 04:38:19 PM Well, I now finally got the rear bumper cover repainted - my car is now known as "the car with the red bumper". They were WAY off with the paint the first time and still had cracks in it, then they resanded it AND I GAVE THEM A CAN OF THE ORIGINAL PAINT. They must've been mad that a guy splattered the paint after putting the lid back on because it looks like they didn't even TRY to match the paint the second go-round. I am so pissed & depressed that I don't even want to drive the car any more. The guy was like "yeah, you can get the whole car painted". He could tell I was pissed when I told him that most of the trim/lights etc. cost more than the paint job they screwed up on the stupid bumper cover - twice! He offered to "blend" the color and re-clear coat it. I was thinking "yeah, that's what I need - to spread the pain". He was like "you know, it's hard to match wet paint". I said "yeah, that's why I DRIED the paint with a HEAT GUN the way the PROFESSIONAL SHOPS do it so you can tell what it's going to look like" when I matched the interior color. Ass holes. The band of gypsies that used to roam my old neighborhood doing body work would have done a better job. Ass holes. Ass holes. Quote Selected

wha... another update? Reply #58 – September 07, 2008, 05:47:55 PM Alrighty, finally a sunday where I have nothing pressing to do. Wanted to work on the calendar saturday, but college football is underway (Go Noles! and Michigan!). :)As stated before I didn't like the first draft so I make some tweaks. Ok I pretty much deleted everything and started over. Overall, I am much happier with this draft. A couple notes, it is still a work in progress. The gray background is intentional. It is also the extent of the page size to give you an idea of what the final product will look like. I am working on some graphics to put in the background as well. But not too much, I want to keep it somewhat simple. Also, I haven't checked my email in weeks (prolly more like months, been super busy) so if you sent me pics and I haven't sent a confirmation response, that is why.
