I got tons of them for nothing. They work great in a shop and you can easily change the shelf spacing. plus they hold several hundred lbs. a piece. they're a temporary thing while I'm working on the car. when it's all over, you will probably find them in baxo's garage.

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

Hey I'm part Polish and I...........would do the same thing;)

For the intake cover just use a 4 screw hole plate. Take the two extra screws, cut the threads off so you just have the top, and glue the tops onto the plate. Vola no one knows you are only holding the plate down with two screws.

BTW you should paint your engine and intake Ford blue;)

what are people using to attach their TV cables to the 65mm explorer Throttle bodies?  I seem to be confused when it comes to that...

The cables hook up exactly like the regular T-Bird/Stang throttle body. When installing an Explorer t-body,you remove the "lever" from the t-body shaft and replace it with the lever from the stock t-body.Everything hooks up the right way,and you have a bigger t-body.The EGR /t-body spacer needs to be opened up to 65mm as well,otherwise,what's the point?

As much as I like the old Ford blue, I doesn't look right to me in the newer cars. If I had something a lot older that you could actually see the motor, I would. Black and silver is my theme for this car. mabe the next project will get the Ford blue treatment. I can actually see one side of the motor in the vert. ;) As for the intake and all the aluminum under the hood, I'm sticking with the natural color of the parts. Like the color of the timing chain cover. It's staying the color that it is.....just clean.

Have you thought about clear coating the natural aluminum to make it easier to clean? That would keep it from staining as easy.

I've got an Edelbrock 65mm TB since my intake didn't have a TB when I bought it.

ive found out that if you powder coat your parts its easier to clean. just hose em off and your done. Thats what im gonna do with mine. Also my engine block is ford blue :D

My engine is the darker blue.I like it.It's all about what we want on our own cars.It's a reflection of ourselves.

Today I sprayed the fenders.










Now I can have more fun sanding, and filling. I'm hoping the fenders will be at the same stage as the rest of the car by next weekend.

I remember spending a lot of time on the front fenders for the Sport.They sucked.When I was almost done,I ended up a a pair of near perfect fenders.The sad ones went to the s pile.Good work Jerry.Is the engine almost together?LOL.

Yes, it's all sitting together on a shelf, talking about the good old days. :D  No, I haven't bought anything to start putting it back together. I'm going to collect what I need, while I finish the bodywork and paint.
