Project Evolution *** Project Complete **** Wednesday July 9, 2014 Reply #1516 – July 21, 2009, 09:27:01 PM Take the convertible out on the highway and shift out of OD into D and drive for a bit. If you think you can live with that, go with the C6 :hick: Quote Selected

Are you sure the shaft from the 3.8 won't work?I was reading this the other day. I'm not quite sure if the difference is just with an 88, or all 3.8s. Or for that matter, if there will be a difference that I'll run into.I'm just be overly cautious and doing my research now before I get to that project.Quote from: TurboCoupe50;283020http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=23840&page=2A T5 shaft is close to the same length of a 5.0 AOD Bird and will interchange... A TC A4LD auto shaft is approx 5" shorter than a AOD shaft... A 3.8 AOD D/S is apparently a different length(see link)...So, does anyone have the exact length of a DS for a 5.0 with a 8.8 rear? Is that the correct length of the DS, in that link?Did anyone ever use the DS from the 3.8 in there 5.0 swap? Quote Selected
