'88 right?

Looks  clean...I'd say around 500 bucks American...but then down here, you can't get one like that, even with an engine.
Sucks that it's an auto-trans tho...
Would ya drop in a 5.0 or find another 2.3 for it if you bought it?

Well, it's not "fully" loaded. Missing the power moonroof and leather at the very least.

That being said, it IS a VERY clean shell. That's a great swap candidate! It has under 100,000 miles on it and is straight and rust free. You could strip that car for well over $2000 American...

Its worth more than 500, I personally feel that if its very clean, it would be worth maybe 1200 tops.
It's Gumby's fault.

Yea, If you threw a new motor in it, you could turn it around and sell it for $2500+

That's a clean car! If I had the cash, i'd get that just to have it. Why part it out when you could throw another engine in it and have a great car.

I agree 100% with Sduneman3 and 1BadBird, throw a $500 motor in it and you'll have a $2500 car.

he is asking $2300 for it as it sits.......  I may offer him $1800.  Still trying to get that 5.0L one that I posted in my mustang for sale thread.  a buddy of his pm'ed me and said they have it running now.....  (the 5.0L one)  what a tease.  I literally begged him to sell it to me.. HAHAHA.

and I would go TT 5.0L

$500 US.

How many other mechanically-inclined 80s Ford enthusiasts with a car trailer in his area are going to pay much more than that for an automatic car without an engine?

Only if there were enough people in the immediate area that had a need for just about every removable part.  The big parts are pretty much limited to his location because people don't want to spend the shipping costs on top of the part cost.
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

Let him sit on it for a while. It's too nice to junk so he won't do that. I'm sure there aren't that many people in the market for a non running TC even in the great condition that one is in. His asking price should come down for sure with time.

The car does have a moonroof and is fully loaded.
The only option it lacks is leather and luckily it doesn't have it.
Hell i even have the factory deck it's missing,2300 is to much though.
I paid 2200 for my TC with only 70k on it and it was running.
I'd say 1500 would be worth while, maybe even as high as 1800 but that would be tops.

if i was in the market for a clean swap car and that one hapned to have either the grey or tan interior and moonroof id drop 2500 to 3000 on it if it was staring me in the face in real life. it wouldtotaly have to be "the one" though. super clean, str8, un fiddled foxes are getting hard to find...come to think of it i only saw 2 turbo coupes this past summer...

I'd drop $1800 on that in a heartbeat. A 20-year-old completely rust-free Thunderbird simply doesn't happen in eastern Canada very often - certainly not often enough to pass one up if you have the opportunity. Since you've got engine plans already the missing engine shouldn't be an issue.

$2300 would be a stretch tho...
