shifter questions....

I'm looking to put a ratchet floor shifter in my car.  I was thinking about the B&M hammer, I was wondering if anyone else had a ratchet shifter on thier AOD and what thier experiance was and what problems I should look out for.

Don't mess with theTV cable to much.I wanted to do it last year.
Old Grey Cat to this.88 Cat, 5.0 HO, CW mounts, mass air, CI custom cam, afr165's, Tmoss worked cobra intake, BBK shorty's,off road h pipe, magnaflow ex. T-5,spec stage 2 clutch, 8.8 373 TC trac loc, che ajustables with bullits on the rear. 11" brakes up front. +

i have the hurst v-matic ratchet shifter. but i am running a C-4. i didn't have any problems with mine. when you get all your brackets the whole shifter kit looks kinda cheap, but when it's done it looks great.
