Guideplate HELP!!!

I added guideplates to my GT40-P heads and the rocker arms do not line up with the valves anymore. Is this due to the change in design to this head? I.E. Valve location, plug angle? I am extremely puzzled, OH and where do I get specific guideplates for GT-40P heads to fix this problem, The pedastels have been milled off so I now must use this set-up. WTF I thought that COMP Cams would have noticed this and had a seperate guide plate. Can I use a chop saw to widen the grove or just buy a set of guide plates for a 3/8" push rod and that will fix the problem? Has anyone had this issue before?

NO the guideplates are not adjustable. Some versions are, but unfortunately I have the older style with no adjustability.

GT40P heads are a stock replacement other then header issues everything else should be the same on all ford iron heads from the DOE to E6 to E7 to gt40 to gt40p.
Don’t know if the helps much though.
