My newest purchase

Well, after months of looking for a truck, I finally found one that I couldn't pass up.

'94 F250 XLT, 4x4, 5 speed, 7.3 IDI turbo diesel (not a powerstroke).

It needs a little work, but it has '94K on it and I got it for $5000 :D

I'm pitching the cap, running boards and lighted bumper things ASAP, and I've already got stuff on order for exhaust, intake and a couple gauges.

Nice dude. Engine looks a little dirty ;)  I'd definitely say ditch those little bumper light stick things.

The turbo is the whole reason I bought it...

For those that don't know, the IDI was Ford's mechanical diesel before the powerstroke (it was still made by International). I.e. no goofy electronics to  out (think 12V cummins). They made a turbo version for 2 years, I figured I'd never find one and then I stumbled across this one.

And yeah the engine bay is pretty grubby...I may have to get some Engine Brite and spray the whole thing down.

NICE truck man. i was looking for any in that body style. found a diesle but couldnt get it bc i was tied up in a deal. but i got mine now from a guy down the street and im happy  bc it's stick atleast and 4x4.

hows the turning on those i heard they started to get worse as they got to the newer trucks. like the 86's car steer like a motha. mine can cut some nice U-turns. it's a 90 though
