Help me identify this port?

In my engine bay on the right side there's a rubber vaccuum hose poking through a grommet in the firewall down near the exhaust manifold.  I've had it plugged for so long I forget what the hell it is exactly.  Reason I'm wondering now is because in troubleshooting an idle problem I just noticed a stain of gas or antifreeze running from that port down the firewall.  Think it might have happened last night when I was mega cranking a new carb and flooded it.  Whatever the case I'd love to know how gas got in that particular port.

Right side as in driver or pass side?

How low on the firewall?

It sounds like a drain tube for the heater box.

Passenger side.  Down around my header collector.

The heater has a drain tube?

Yup. This is where the water comes out when the A/C is on as well. If this ever gets clogged, you get a cold water bath when you turn. Ask me how I know. :D

If there is coolant coming out this hole, I'm 99% sure the heater core has a leak.

Yup....that's what I was going to get to.

Not sure why you had it plugged...I guess if you had working AC you would have found out about what it was sooner. :p

I didn't have it plugged, it was clogged with dirt and leftovers from a previous core change I guess. And yeah, I didn't figure it out until I got the A/C charged, lol.

When I bought the car the emissions junk was half removed with ss here and there.  I think there was actually a line running from that port to a cylindrical thing that I also ended up removing....lol.
