Speedo woes

Has anyone over sped their speedos? I think I did tonight, it is just dangling now. Tomorrow, I'll see if I can move it back to 0 MPH and hopefuly it will still operate like it should.

From a dead stop, I pulled out and turned left and nailed it. The rear driverside tire came off the ground and the speedo went past the 6 o'clock position and went "limp".

I removed the intrument lens and reset it to 0 MPH, it's working fine now, that it gave me an oppertunity to clean the dust out.
